Terms of Use
Last updated: August 15, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Limitless Labs Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong under Companies Registry number 80767537, whose registered office is at 100–106 Third Street, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong (“Beliefit”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your use of the Beliefit mobile app, the Beliefit website at beliefit.app, and any content or services we provide (together, the “Service”). You can contact us about anything in these Terms at help@beliefit.app.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who Can Use Beliefit
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Beliefit account. If you are 16 or 17, you may only use Beliefit with the knowledge and agreement of a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child has created an account, email us at help@beliefit.app and we will remove it.
Your Account
You need an account to use most of Beliefit. Please give us accurate information when you sign up, and let us know at help@beliefit.app if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that takes place under it — unless that activity was not your fault, for example where someone used your account without your permission and you told us as soon as you reasonably could.
Your account is personal to you. Please do not share it, sell it, or let anyone else use it.
What Beliefit Is — and Is Not
Beliefit provides audio affirmation courses and related wellbeing content for general personal-development purposes. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease or any medical or mental-health condition. It is not therapy or counselling, and it is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you have a health condition. If you have, or think you may have, a physical or mental-health condition — including anxiety, depression, PTSD, a dissociative condition, psychosis, or a sleep disorder — please speak to a qualified health professional before using Beliefit, and keep them involved while you use it. Never disregard professional advice, delay seeking it, or stop or change any treatment or medication because of anything you hear in Beliefit.
If a session doesn’t feel right. Affirmations touch on personal subjects such as self-worth, anxiety, and sleep, and a session may sometimes bring up uncomfortable feelings. If that happens, stop the session, skip it, or come back to it another time — there is nothing to be gained from pushing through distress. If difficult feelings continue, please speak to a qualified professional.
In a crisis. Beliefit is not a crisis service. It is not monitored by a person, and it cannot provide help in an emergency. If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, or believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line straight away. You can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com.
Listen safely. Beliefit asks for your attention, and some sessions are designed to help you relax or fall asleep. Do not listen while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or doing anything else that needs your attention, and do not use headphones where you need to hear what is going on around you. Listen at a comfortable volume to protect your hearing, and take care with cables and devices if you listen in bed.
No promises about results. We do not promise any particular outcome or result from using the Service. Our content is written in-house and informed by published psychology and our own editorial judgement, but it has not been clinically tested or independently validated, and nothing in the app is a claim that Beliefit will treat, relieve, or improve any condition. Results vary from person to person, and anything you see from other users — reviews, ratings, or testimonials — is their own experience, not a prediction of yours.
How the audio is made. The voices you hear are produced using licensed speech-synthesis technology, from scripts we write in-house.
What Beliefit Costs
Beliefit is free to use. There is nothing to buy in the app, we do not ask you for payment details, and we do not charge you anything.
We may introduce paid subscriptions in future. If we do, we will update these Terms to set out the plans, prices, renewal and cancellation terms before anything goes on sale, and nothing will ever be charged to you without your express purchase.
Your Licence to Use Beliefit
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and its content for your own personal, non-commercial use, for as long as these Terms apply to you.
If you obtained Beliefit from the App Store, that licence is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, and only as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions — except that Beliefit may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing, where Apple makes that feature available.
Downloaded sessions are stored on your device so you can listen offline. They remain part of the Service and are covered by this licence — downloading a session does not make it yours to keep, share, or use elsewhere.
Your licence to downloaded sessions lasts only for as long as you have the right to use them. If your account is closed or suspended, or if these Terms end, your licence ends at the same time — including any sessions you have already downloaded. You must stop using and delete them, and the app may remove downloaded files from your device. Downloads are a convenience for offline listening, not a permanent copy, and we do not guarantee that any download will remain available or playable.
Our Content
All audio, scripts, affirmations, artwork, music, text, software, designs, and the Beliefit name and logo are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you, and all rights not expressly granted to you here are reserved by us and our licensors.
We expressly reserve all rights in our content against text and data mining, including for the purposes of Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, and this reservation applies to automated access and extraction of any kind.
What You Agree Not to Do
You agree not to:
- Copy, record, screen-record, capture, transcribe, translate, adapt, stream, broadcast, publish, re-upload, or otherwise redistribute or make available any part of the Service’s content, or create any derivative work from it — including posting sessions or scripts to social media, podcast or video platforms, messaging groups, or file-sharing services
- Use any part of the Service or its content — audio, voice recordings, scripts, affirmations, artwork, or text — to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model, including any voice-cloning, speech-synthesis, or text-generation system, or to build datasets, embeddings, or transcripts for that purpose
- Sell, rent, sublicense, or use the Service commercially, or play, perform, or make our content available to any group or in any public or professional setting — including therapy, counselling, or coaching sessions, classrooms, yoga, fitness, or meditation classes, spas, retreats, workplace wellbeing programmes, or care settings — without our written permission. If you would like to use Beliefit with clients or a group, email help@beliefit.app and we will talk about a licence
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or audio files, except where the law says you may
- Circumvent any paywall, entitlement check, download limit, or other technical protection
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, watermark, credit, or file metadata in our content
- Use the Beliefit name, logo, or other marks — or anything confusingly similar — without our written permission
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service, or interfere with its normal operation or security
- Use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights
Nothing in these Terms prevents us from asking a court for an injunction or other order where the law allows it.
Reporting Infringement
Beliefit does not host content uploaded by users. If you find Beliefit content copied or shared somewhere it should not be, please tell us at help@beliefit.app — a link and a short description is enough. If you believe something in Beliefit infringes your rights, email the same address with details of the work and where it appears, and we will look into it promptly.
Changes to the Service
Beliefit is under active development. We may add, change, or remove courses, sessions, and features — for example, to improve the Service, to fix a problem, to meet a legal or licensing requirement, or because a piece of content is no longer suitable.
If we discontinue the Service, or a significant part of it, we will tell you as far in advance as we reasonably can.
Ending These Terms
You can stop using Beliefit at any time, and you can delete your account from within the app. If you no longer have the app installed, email us at help@beliefit.app from the address on your account and we will action the deletion.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Except where we need to act immediately — for example, fraud, or activity that puts other users or the Service at risk — we will tell you first, explain why, and give you a reasonable chance to put it right. If you think we have got a suspension wrong, email help@beliefit.app and we will review the decision.
What Survives
If your account is closed or these Terms come to an end, your licence ends as described under Your Licence to Use Beliefit above. The following sections continue to apply: Our Content; What You Agree Not to Do; Reporting Infringement; Feedback; Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability; If You Cause Us a Claim; Transferring This Agreement; How We Contact Each Other; Resolving Problems; Governing Law; If Part of These Terms Doesn’t Apply; and any other part of these Terms that by its nature is meant to continue.
Transferring This Agreement
These Terms are personal to you. You may not transfer or assign them, or your account, to anyone else.
We may transfer or assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to another company — for example if we reorganise our business, move the Beliefit app to a different developer account, or sell all or part of our business or assets. If we do, your rights under these Terms will not be reduced, and we will tell you in the app or by email where the law requires it. If you would rather not continue after a transfer, you can stop using Beliefit at any time.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Beliefit running well, but we cannot promise that the Service will always be available or completely free of errors, or that every course or session will stay available forever. We may need to suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance or updates, or because of something outside our control.
That does not affect the rights you have as a consumer — see Limitation of Liability and Your Statutory Rights below. If something is wrong, tell us at help@beliefit.app and we will fix it.
Where the Service is used by someone who is not a consumer — for example, a business — all warranties, conditions, and terms implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow us to. In particular, we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence, for breach of the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in — including your rights to content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for the purpose you told us about, as described, and supplied with reasonable care and skill — or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, here is what we are and are not responsible for. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if, when you accepted these Terms, both you and we knew it might happen. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
Beliefit is supplied for your personal use. If you use the Service for any business or commercial purpose, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity, and our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the equivalent of USD 50 in your local currency. That limit does not apply if you are a consumer.
Your Statutory Rights
If you are a consumer, you have rights under the consumer protection laws of the country you live in. Nothing in these Terms takes those rights away, and where these Terms conflict with them, those laws apply.
If you live in Australia. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those guarantees.
If You Cause Us a Claim
If you use Beliefit in a way these Terms do not allow — for example by copying, sharing, or commercially using our content — and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you may be liable to us for the loss we suffer as a result, to the extent the law makes you liable. Nothing here adds to the liability you would have anyway, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.
Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Beliefit, we may use them freely and without any obligation or payment to you. Please don’t send us anything you consider confidential.
Apple
These Terms are between you and us only — not with Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the Beliefit app and its content, and for providing any maintenance and support services for it. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and any claim arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. If any third party claims that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, we — not Apple — are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
We are solely responsible for any product warranties for the app, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they have not been effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you, where a purchase price was paid. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are our responsibility and not Apple’s.
You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Beliefit — for example, the terms of your wireless data service, which apply if you stream or download sessions over a mobile network.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. Please read it — it forms part of your agreement with us.
How We Contact Each Other
We will give you any notice under these Terms in the app, by email to the address on your account, or on our website — whichever we reasonably expect will reach you. An email notice counts as received when it arrives in your inbox; if one bounces back to us, we will try to reach you another way. Please keep the email address on your account up to date. You can give us notice at help@beliefit.app.
Resolving Problems
Before any formal dispute, please email help@beliefit.app and give us a chance to put things right. We will try to resolve the issue with you within 30 days. This is not a condition of your right to go to court or to use any consumer dispute-resolution scheme available where you live — it is just usually faster for both of us.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
If you are a consumer, that choice does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Those laws continue to apply to you whatever these Terms say.
You can bring proceedings about these Terms either in the courts of Hong Kong or in the courts of the country where you live. We will only bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country where you live.
If Part of These Terms Doesn’t Apply
If a court finds that any part of these Terms is unlawful or cannot be enforced, the rest of them still apply. If you are a consumer, a term that is unfair simply does not bind you, and everything else continues without it.
The Whole Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. This does not exclude anything we told you before you bought that the law treats as part of our contract with you, any statement we made fraudulently, or any right you have under consumer law.
If we do not enforce part of these Terms straight away, or at all, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
Changes to These Terms
We may need to update these Terms — for example, to reflect a change in the law or a regulator’s guidance, a change in an app store’s rules, a new feature, or a change in how the Service works. Any change we make will be reasonable and proportionate to the reason for it.
If a change materially affects you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. If you do not want to accept the change, you can stop using the Service before it takes effect. Introducing paid subscriptions would be a material change, so you would be told before anything went on sale.
